These fried shrimp cakes represent a tamer alternative to the curried Thai fish cakes (which you’re more likely to see at most Thai restaurants). You can find the recipe for this dish here. Make sure you have a bottle or a batch of homemade Thai sweet chili sauce nearby.

Wow! Shrimp my favorite. I’m so gonna add this to my shrimp recipe collection. Thanks for sharing.
Shrimp cakes over fish cakes any day. Especially if they’re spicy and limey. The sweet chili sauce tops it off nicely.
Wonderful! I love shrimp cakes, and I wonder, could you use some finely grated coconut in the coating of these?
Sue – Yes, you certainly can.
What a great blog. Hubby and I love Thai food. Now I can learn how to make it as well. Great blog. I will be adding you to my blogroll.
